Unit Weight of ISLC

Dear Readers, Wish You a Happy Pongal

In continuation with my earlier post of ISMC, Let us discuss about ISLC (Indian Standard Light Weight Channel) this is one of the standardized categories of hot-rolled steel Cahnnel section.


This is tapered flange Channel and it is having sizes from 75mm to 400mm. it is similar to ISMC, however the thickness of Web & Flange is lesser then ISMC.
