In continuation with my earlier post let us discuss about Slit Tee. It is similar to ISNT by the shape, However Slit tees are made by splitting a beam down the web yielding a pairs of Tee.
ISMT’s are slit from ISMB (Medium
Weight Beams) and ISHT’s are slit from ISHB.Based on the requirement it is cut
from universal Beam and universal column.
Slit
Tee Bars are classified as per IS 1173: 1978.Unit Weights of Slit Tee's are below.
